Hastings Yacht Club.... Sailability Back

HYC Sailability Program  2010 - 2011........Click Here

It is time to prepare for our 2010-2011 Sailability season. This season we have good tides for a change and with the new pontoon, access to toilets and a newly designed downstairs clubroom all is looking good.

We welcome back our regular volunteers and look forward to seeing some new faces. As usual a free B.B.Q. lunch will be provided for our volunteers after each session. Get in touch with Kevin or call him on 0418340733 who will gladly welcome you to our sessions. Enjoy a chat with your fellow club members plus the experience of helping our disabled clients who always get so much fun out of their sailing experiences. These sessions run on a fortnightly basis from between 1000hrs and 1400hrs.

The Hastings Yacht Club Sailability Program is run by Kevin Baensch with his band of dedicated volunteers. The program allows people who normally would not be able to sail to  enjoy the pleasures of Sailing

.....the wind in their face, the sail flapping and the sound of the water racing past ....That's sailing.

Safety is a number one priority with a safety officer in each yacht and a patrol boat is always on hand if assistance is required

With the assistance of sponsors such as the RACV providing little extras the day is complete.

It is sometime the simple things in life that are most pleasurable ...like what may be in the blue bag

Thanks RACV
